Therapy That Helps You Understand What's Actually Going On

You already know something needs to change.

Maybe anxiety has started making ordinary decisions feel exhausting. Maybe a career change, relationship shift, loss, move, or new stage of adulthood has left you questioning what comes next. From the outside, you may look like you're handling things. Inside, you're second-guessing yourself, replaying conversations, overthinking decisions, or wondering why the life you worked so hard to build no longer feels like the right fit.

When You Want More Than Coping Skills

Coping tools can help you get through a difficult moment. They do not always explain why the same patterns keep showing up. LeAnn Pyles, LPC, NCC uses somatic therapy alongside person-centered, trauma-informed, and CBT approaches to look at both what you're thinking and what you're experiencing physically.

Somatic therapy pays attention to the body's responses to stress and emotion. Instead of talking only about what happened or challenging a thought on paper, you may learn to notice tension, activation, shutdown, or other physical signals and respond differently. That can be especially useful when you understand your anxiety intellectually but your body still reacts as if something is wrong.
